Windows setup guide
Download, extract and open your program.
Okapi Utilities currently arrive as ZIP files. A ZIP file does not install itself. Follow these steps once for each program you purchased.
Six steps
From purchase to desktop.
Complete the full sequence for every ZIP file. Keep the extracted folders; they contain the files each application needs.

Download
After payment, use the download buttons on the Payhip confirmation page. Payhip also sends the same links to your receipt email.

Find the ZIP
Open File Explorer and select Downloads. Package purchases include a separate ZIP file for every program you selected.

Extract it
Right-click the ZIP file, select Extract All, and then click Extract. Do not try to operate the program from inside the ZIP.

Open the program
Open the newly extracted folder and double-click the application file—the file whose Type is Application.

Allow the first launch
If Windows displays a protection message, click More info, verify that the file came from Okapi Utilities, and choose Run anyway.

Make a shortcut
Right-click the application, choose Show more options, and then Send to → Desktop (create shortcut).

Troubleshooting
If something does not open.
I cannot find the downloaded file.
Press Ctrl+J in your browser to view recent downloads, or open File Explorer and select Downloads.
I see folders but no application.
In File Explorer, select View → Show → File name extensions. Look for the file ending in .exe whose Type is Application.
Windows says it protected my PC.
Only continue if you downloaded the file from your Okapi Utilities Payhip purchase. Click More info and then Run anyway.
The program worked before but its shortcut stopped working.
The extracted program folder may have been moved or deleted. Extract the original ZIP again, then create a new desktop shortcut.
My antivirus removed the application.
Restore or allow the file only if it came directly from your Payhip purchase. Do not use copies obtained from another website or person.
