Before you start
- Install and open Okapi Teleprompter.
- Prepare a plain-text script.
Windows installation: Download the customer ZIP from Payhip, extract it, open the Setup file and follow the installation prompts.

Step-by-step

Open or drag your script into the program.

Set the text size and scrolling speed.

Choose mirror mode if your teleprompter glass requires it.

Start scrolling, then pause and resume as needed.

Use full screen when you are ready to record.

Save or export your work
Keep the original script file; the teleprompter reads it without changing it.

Troubleshooting
- If a button does nothing, complete the earlier steps and make sure the required file or device is selected.
- For Windows programs, close and reopen the program after connecting a new device.
- Short paragraphs are easier to read on camera.
- Test the speed before recording.
Your files stay on your device unless the app clearly tells you that an upload is required.
